About Color Tint Overlay
Color Tint Overlay washes a single colour across your whole image so you can warm up a cold photo, cool down a harsh one, or push a picture toward a brand palette in seconds.
Drop in a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF and it is decoded, tinted and previewed entirely inside your browser.
The maths is a straightforward linear blend: every pixel is mixed toward your chosen colour by a strength you set from 0 to 100 percent.
At 0 the original is untouched; at 100 the image becomes a flat block of the tint; in between you get a gradual colour cast that keeps the underlying contrast and detail intact.
Pick the colour with the native swatch and slide the strength — the preview is redrawn from the original pixels on every change, so the tint never compounds and you can dial it in precisely.
It is ideal for duotone-style headers, mood overlays on hero images, monochrome accents, or unifying a set of photos under one consistent hue.
Because the work runs locally with the Canvas API, your picture is never uploaded, stored or logged, and the tool keeps working offline once loaded.
When the cast looks right, download a lossless PNG.
FAQ
Does my image get uploaded?
No. The colour is blended in with the Canvas API inside your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
How is the tint applied?
Each pixel is linearly mixed toward your colour by the strength you set, so contrast and detail survive while the whole image takes on the hue.
