About Text Snippet Manager
The Text Snippet Manager is a lightweight place to keep the bits of text you retype all day: email replies, signatures, code blocks, addresses, boilerplate clauses and canned responses.
Instead of digging through old messages or a cluttered notes app, you save each fragment once, give it a title, and pull it back up the moment you need it.
Adding a snippet is a two-field affair — a title and the body — and if you skip the title the tool borrows the first line of the text so nothing ends up nameless.
A search box filters your collection in real time, matching against both titles and bodies, so a vague memory of a single word is enough to find the right entry.
Each saved snippet shows its character count and a one-click copy button, which is the whole point: get the text onto your clipboard with no fuss.
Because this is a privacy-first, client-side tool, every snippet lives only in your browser session and is never uploaded anywhere.
To keep things between visits or move them to another machine, use the JSON export to copy your whole collection out, then paste it into the import box later to restore it.
It is a simple, dependable scratchpad for the text you reach for again and again.
FAQ
Where are my snippets stored?
They stay in your current browser session and are never sent to a server. Use the JSON export to keep a permanent copy or move them elsewhere.
What happens if I leave the title blank?
The tool uses the first line of your snippet text as the title, so every entry stays searchable and labelled.
Can I move snippets to another device?
Yes. Copy the exported JSON, then paste it into the import box on the other device to restore the full list.
