About Text on Image / Meme

The Text on Image / Meme tool puts the classic impact-style caption straight onto your picture: bold white letters with a black outline, anchored to the top and bottom edges, exactly the way internet memes have looked for years.

Drop in any photo or screenshot and type your captions — the preview updates live as you adjust the wording, size and colours.

Long captions are handled for you.

The tool measures the real rendered width of your text against the image and wraps it onto as many lines as needed, so words never run off the edge, and each block is centred and stacked neatly from the top or up from the bottom.

You control the font size, the fill colour and a configurable outline (width and colour) so the text stays legible over busy backgrounds, and an optional uppercase toggle gives you the traditional all-caps meme look or leaves your casing untouched.

Everything is drawn with the Canvas API on your own machine, so your image is never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone — making it just as suitable for a private in-joke as a public post.

When the caption looks right, download a crisp lossless PNG ready to share.

FAQ

Is my image sent anywhere?

No. The caption is drawn onto your image with the Canvas API inside your browser, so the picture never leaves your device.

What happens to very long captions?

They wrap automatically. The tool measures the text width and breaks it onto multiple centred lines so nothing is clipped.

Can I turn off the all-caps look?

Yes. Uncheck "Force uppercase" to keep your text exactly as typed.
