About Tally Counter
The Tally Counter is a clean, distraction-free click counter for any time you need to keep a running count.
Tap the plus button to add to the total and the minus button to subtract; the big, easy-to-read number updates instantly so you can keep your eyes on whatever you are actually counting — people through a door, reps in a set, inventory items, votes, or laps around a track.
The count never drops below zero, so an accidental extra click on minus will not send it negative.
A step-size field lets you count in increments other than one.
Set it to 5 to tally in fives, or to 10 for quick bulk counting; the buttons relabel themselves to show the current step so it is always clear how much each click adds or removes.
A reset button clears the total back to zero when you are ready to start a fresh count, and a copy button puts the current number on your clipboard so you can drop it into a spreadsheet or message.
There is nothing to install and nothing leaves your device — the counter lives entirely in the page, so it is fast, works offline once loaded, and keeps your counts private.
FAQ
Can I count in steps larger than one?
Yes. Set the step-size field to any whole number and each click will add or subtract that amount.
Can the count go negative?
No. The counter clamps at zero, so subtracting past zero simply leaves it at zero.
